Diversity Special-"A Taste of Haiti" by Emmanuel Volcy at the World Cuisine Station, tomorrow, Thursday, 8/6/15

The Food and Nutrition team at Lahey Hospital & Medical center will be presenting "A taste of Haiti" at the World Cuisine Station at the Cafeteria tomorrow, Thursday, 8/6/15 during lunch from 11am-2pm. 

Emmanuel Volcy from the production team will be presenting the cuisine.

The Special menu consist of:
-Haitian Fried Fish 
-Spicy Coleslaw
-Rice with black mushrooms and pigeon peas

and a choice of bottled water, 8oz soda or any size fountain beverage. All for only $6.95. 
 
Introducing Emmanuel Volcy, Cook at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center

Emmanuel (Manny) Volcy, was born in Port Au Prince in Haiti. He moved to the United States in 2000, where he acquired the job of head cook at the Ocean Edge Hotel in Yarmouth,MA.  He joined the production team at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in 2005.  Manny is a proud father of two wonderful children- Mekhi and Mikayla.  He enjoys spending quality time with them.
