Happy Father's Day! (Sunday, June 21)

Wishing all Dad a Happy Father's Day!

For this special day, I have prepared a special poem for all dad. Hope you like it!

A Father's Day poem by Cassandra Loh

A Dad is the first man a girl falls in love with
A Dad is the first man a boy looks up to
A Dad is the first man who tells you to be brave
A Dad is the first man who tells you not be afraid

A Dad is tough
A Dad is gentle
A Dad is our hero, our guide
Who gives us strength
To fail, to learn and to succeed

Dad might not talk a lot
Dad might not show us what he thinks
Dad likes to put on a shield
So we can't see how he feels

Sorry Dad, we are not letting you fool us
Cause you always have a soft spot for us

You might tell us today is just another day
But today is your day
To celebrate our love for you

We love you Dad! Happy Father's Day!

Congratulations to Chef Stephen Wetterwald, New Executive Chef at Sodexo account at Saint Memorial Hospital

Stephen Wetterwald (Steve), Sous Chef at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center has accepted a position with Sodexo as the new Executive Chef at Saint Memorial Hospital, a Sodexo account.

Chef Steve has been working at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center for almost 7 years. Under the leadership of Linda Clay, Director of Food and Nutrition and Chef David Cox, Executive Chef, Steve continues to develop his skills and learn Sodexo programs and standards.  While being employed at Lahey, Chef Steve has enrolled in both Lahey and Sodexo trainings. The training and development he accomplished throughout the years has helped him with his transition to become a Sodexo Executive chef.

According to Chef Steve, one of the many benefits of working in a Sodexo managed account is having the opportunity to work for a renowned hospital while learning from an established comprehensive service solution company such as Sodexo.  When he is ready to move on, there is no other place that he will consider apart from Sodexo, as Sodexo has always been a second "home" to him.

Chef Steve- Thank you for all that you have done at the Sodexo account at Lahey.  We look forward to seeing more great things from you! Welcome and see you soon!

At Sodexo, we believe in Making Everyday a Better Day for all those we served.
