"Kit Kat" moments in the Food and Nutrition department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center- It's the little things that matter

In the Food and Nutrition department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, we run a busy operation with an average patient count of 310. Teamwork is very important and the management team always reminds themselves to take a moment to stop and thank our most important assets - our people. When we are immersed in our heavy workload, often times we forget to stop and show our appreciation.

Today during lunch time, Linda Clay, Director of Food and Nutrition walked around the department and cafeteria to thank all colleagues for their hard work and dedication to putting Patients at the heart of everything we do . She distributed Kit Kats and thanked all colleagues.

We called it our "Kit Kat" moment just like their slogan- Have a break, take a Kit Kat ®. It brought a smile to everyone's face. It's the little things that matter.
