General InternaI Medicine department at Lahey Hospital and Medical center organized an Inaugural Fundraiser for the 2014 Lahey Cancer Walk & Run

Colleagues in the General Internal Medicine (GIM) department at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center organized an International luncheon in the Hospital 4 SE lobby as part of their Inaugural fundraiser for the 2014 Lahey Cancer Walk & Run. www.laheyhealth5k.org.

Colleagues were invited to purchase a $10 ticket which enabled them to enjoy cuisines from Portugal, Brazil, Ireland, Greece, Polland, Thailand,Italy and Canada. All the delicacies were prepared by colleagues from the GIM department.

The event was a great success!

Be on the lookout for additional fundraising events from the GIM Bee-lievers team.(GIM team name for Lahey Cancer Walk & Run) There will be candy bar sales, gift basket raffles, ice cream sundae parties, pizza and taco parties, Colleague Car washes and many more as part of the department fundraisers.
