Pictures from August Diversity Month Special- A taste of Ghana and Liberia

The Diversity event at the cafeteria at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center Burlington today was a great success!

The "Taste of Ghana and Liberia" menu consists of:
-Waakye (Rice and beans)
-Shito Beef Stew (Spicy Beef Stew)
-Hard Boiled Eggs
-Cooked Spaghetti
-Banana Rice Bread

and a choice of bottled water, 8oz soda or any size fountain beverage
All for only $6.95

Some customers decided to opt out the spaghetti and hard boiled eggs as they know what it tasted like. I've decided to have the whole meal. I am so..... glad I did! When all the items combined together, the taste exploded in my mouth! It's ten times better than the "regular" spaghetti and meat sauce!

Thank you Munah, the production and the retail team for introducing Ghana and Liberia cuisine to me and all visitors and colleagues at the hospital today. I am so proud to say that now I can say "I have tasted Ghanian and Liberian" cuisine!

If you haven't try a new cuisine lately, please give it a try. The more you eat, the more you know
